Chile in 2050
It's been quite a while since I last imagined traveling into the future. Unfortunately, as I have grown up I feel that the passage of time is becoming more uncertain and worrying. However, suddenly it is beautiful to dream and let yourself be carried away by the mind and imagination.
To the place I would like to travel in the future would be Chile in 2050. However, I wouldn’t only like to see if the world of the future already coexists with robots or if people drive flying cars. No. I would like to know whether the problems facing today's world have been resolved or mitigated. I must be realistic, the global forecast for the coming years is not very good, because the climate crisis is strengthening and social problems are only increasing.
So, I would like to know how Chile faced and solved these problems in 2050. It would be great to know that both the country and the world have regained hope of building a better place!
In turn, I would love to see how technological advances contribute to mitigating the environmental crisis and strengthening social relations independent of economic and cultural differences. Yes, it sounds utopian, but it would be interesting to see those things!
If the future were as I'm imagining, not only would I love to go live in it, but I would like to experience the whole process that happens to get to that moment, it would be a great dream! I don't lose hope that Chile and the world will be a sustainable and beautiful place to live in the future.
